Challenge Caches

Challenge caches started to become popular in 2010. Although they take the "?" icon (mystery/puzzle/unknown) the cache is to be found at the published co-ordinates. However, in order to claim the cache, in addition to finding it, you must also meet the criteria laid down by cache owner. These can range from relatively straightforward to fiendishly difficult. On this page I list those caches that I've completed, am qualified for but not collected, am working towards, am considering for the future and a few that I've rejected as just too difficult. I've created a bookmark list A selection of UK Challenge caches containing all the challenge caches I've set and all the caches mentioned on this page.

It's not that I don't think I have the ability to do the necessary caches, though I'm not getting any younger, but that I've done pretty much all the local high terrain caches and this is likely to require a massive amount of driving. I might just reconsider this one in the future.....
